Job Overview
Charnwood Borough Council is seeking an experienced Plumber to join its repairs team and support reactive maintenance across council tenanted properties.
The role will involve carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance work to a high standard, ensuring good workmanship, a quality finish and a customer-focused service for residents.
The successful candidate will need excellent plumbing skills, pride in their work, strong customer service skills and the ability to work well as part of a repairs team.

This is a Plumber / Housing Repairs role.
Candidates must have strong plumbing skills and experience carrying out reactive maintenance or repairs, ideally within council housing, social housing, domestic properties, voids or responsive repairs.
The successful candidate should hold a standard plumbing qualification or be able to demonstrate significant practical plumbing experience.
Candidates must be customer-focused, professional, reliable and able to work in occupied council tenanted properties.
Candidates without plumbing repairs, reactive maintenance, domestic plumbing or housing repairs experience are unlikely to be considered.

- Carry out plumbing repairs in council tenanted properties
- Support the responsive repairs team
